| Al Bruno, is widely recognized as a formidable force in the entertainment industry. He began his professional career at The Fountain bleu in Miami, with Trumpet player Bert Kaempfert and his orchestra. He then traveled nationwide with his incredible band,The Blue Light Special throughout his early career, performing the best of Billboards top hits and including his special Tribute to Neil Diamond at each show. Over the years he built legions of dedicated fans, many of which continue to support him today. Al has toured throughout Canada with the Rock 'N Roll LEGENDS, with his show stopping Neil Diamond Tribute and has shared the stage with Dionne Warwick, Neil Young, Lou Christie, Jay Black of the Americans, the Tokens, Aretha Franklin, and the Drifters. He has performed in Nashville, Las Vegas, Montreal, The Super Bowl, Atlantic City, New York City. He sang with Paul Anka at Proctor's Theatre. He has appeared on TV shows including the Next Best Thing and has been a guest on numerous radio shows all over the United States. Al has been the special featured performer for many Radio Live Shows including a spectacular live outdoor event promoted by radio station Magic 100.9 in Albany NY where Al drew five thousand people prior to a Times Union Arena performance by Neil Diamond himself. Al has a unique quality about him and genuinely conveys to his fans the feeling that they are very special to him. Singer Neil Young said of Al, Neil Diamond should know who he is. He does Neil so well, yet still Al. In a recent interview, Al Bruno said, Our heritage of freedom has come under assault in modern times. It has been abused and taken for granted much too long. I think September 11th was truly the day the world changed and we need to give thanks to the brave men and women whose efforts contributed to limiting the damage on that day. Their continuing efforts still protect us today. I’m going to sing my heart out for them. I am going to entertain them with all the vintage Neil Diamond hits on September 11th at Michael's Banquet House.
